Quiet atmosphere, quiet hotel, it has amazing location near the lake and the outskirts of Ironwood and the waterfalls along BRSP. The staff are amicable and helpful, answered every question I had. The downstairs bar is cozy, greatly enjoyed this place.

The staff were all affable and outstandingly accommodating. A double room was fantastic with nice bed. We booked it for US$ 163.

Stunning and marvellous location on Lake Superior, easy to get around. Based just off the waterfalls along BRSP as well as beautiful forest. Reasonably spacious, absolutely fantastic room with a kitchen and AC and a bar.

The room was bright and comfy, we really enjoyed it. It was 10 minutes drive to the airport.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met the demands, strongly recommend it. The hotel was in a marvellous location, in a beautiful setting. Plus, it was not far from the Black River's fishing, waterfalls and ski resorts as well as Close to the lake.

The staff was friendly - we would definitely go again. Well, it was a great stay for one night. Remote location was a plus. Easy access to Gogebic County airport, which was about 10 minutes' drive away...

The staff at the lodge were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even knowing our names upon arrival. They were also accommodating to our furry friend, allowing us to bring our dog along. The location of the lodge was perfect for us, nestled in a beautiful forest with not much around, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere.

It would have been convenient to have a vending machine on the premises, especially since the bar was closed during our stay. Driving to town for beverages and snacks was a bit of an inconvenience.

The location was amazing and marvellous and the free parking was on site.

there were spacious, absolutely fantastic rooms with ac and large windows, for instance. lots of good food, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our recent stay at Black River Lodge was fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised by the unique and clean rooms, perfect for our family. The lodge had a beautiful location along the Black River and was conveniently close to Powderhorn ski hill. The kids absolutely loved the huge pool, and it was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this lodge for families who appreciate the charm of an older, well-maintained establishment.

The location is stunning and exceptionally nice and they have parking on-site. The airport is 0.5 miles away.

I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent value for money at this lodge. The room exceeded my expectations, with a comfortable bed and a great location. The staff at Black River Lodge were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, my kids had a blast making fast friends with the owners' children.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast menu would be more variety.
